A summer full of experiences – in any weather
Whether it’s ‘Schietwedder’ during the family vacation at the North Sea, escaping the heat in the well-tempered museum with fresh ideas, or simply an exciting holiday program in Bremerhaven, the German Emigration Center is always a great idea! This summer, we once again offer a full program for children, teenagers, and families.

On a big treasure hunt
Together we’ll go on a big search and explore the city of Bremerhaven as a place of migration. Cost: Free.

Family tours
In the family tours, (grand)parents and children go on a search for traces together. Cost: regular family tickets plus 3.00 Euros per person for the tour

The children’s quiz
How much does a crossing to America cost? Who owns the little bear? And what’s actually in the suitcase of the sleeping emigrant?
With exciting questions, you will discover the exhibition and solve the mystery of the children’s quiz!
Available for free at the museum counter!
