On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, we were pleased to welcome contemporary witnesses for the second part of our event series “Encounters at the DAH”.

Students from the 10th grade can question contemporary witnesses about their experiences and thoughts on specific topics related to migration, farewells, and arriving in Germany. This time, Lule Duriqi and Mircea Ionescu, along with Ksenja Holzmann (educational staff at the memorial site Bunker Valentin), discussed with young people about wars, their triggers and long-term effects, as well as the significance of identity in daily communal living.

Thank you to all three for their time, exciting contributions, and commitment to this special project!
