US Consul General Jason Chue visits the German Emigration Center
US Consul General Jason Chue came to Bremerhaven to learn about the German Emigration Center
On March 26, 2024, in beautiful spring weather, the Consul General of the United States of America based in Hamburg, Jason Chue, visited the German Emigration Center accompanied by colleagues and staff. During his first visit to the migration museum, the high-ranking diplomat and his party were warmly welcomed by Museum Director Dr. Simone Blaschka and architect Andreas Heller. They showed the native New Yorker the highlights and details of the exhibition, where a central starting point of the historical narrative is the ship connection between Bremerhaven and New York City.
We thank you for the visit and the great interest!
