The publication “Transforming Fear into Curiosity. The Migration Forum at the German Emigration Center Bremerhaven: Evaluation, Oral History, and Intercultural Communication” presents the experiences gathered during the development and execution of the educational pilot project at Germany’s Migration Museum.

“Transforming Fear into Curiosity” is aimed at all cultural institutions and their staff involved in intercultural (competence) communication. Through the experiences shared, it aims to contribute to transforming the anxiety-laden topic of migration into a critically reflected openness for learning and discussion, making it known and the subject of further debates.
