The DAH at the Maritime Days

On August 14, 2026, the museum invites you to a discovery day on the Science Mile.

From August 12 to 16, 2026, the Maritime Days in Bremerhaven will once again transform the Havenwelten into a large harbor festival featuring ships, music, and numerous interactive offers.

The German Emigration Center will be part of the Science Mile at the New Harbor (in front of the Chamber of Employees) on Friday, August 14, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Like a small format museum, the booth invites visitors to discover, try out, and participate: children can try their hand at gold panning and playfully consider what they would take on a journey to a new life while packing a suitcase.
