Family tour
recommended for families with children up to 12 years old
In the family tours, (grand)parents and children embark together on the traces of emigrants to the New World. At the listening stations, they learn more about the life paths and motivations of the emigrants. On board the ship, everyone can test their skills in tying sailor knots. The tour takes participants all the way to New York, where they learn how the emigrants settled into their new home. At the end, the group returns to Germany and experiences the history of the Federal Republic up close.
