For the 20th anniversary of jazzahead!, the world’s largest gathering of the jazz scene, there is a premiere: For the first time, the CLUBNIGHT of the festival will also take place in Bremerhaven!
On Saturday, April 25, Bremerhaven will become a festival venue. The music night starts at the Deutsches Auswandererhaus. There, Johannesburg’s trumpet legend Sydney Mavundla and his quartet will perform. The trumpeter and singer is known for the beauty of his slow, emotional ballads – together with his quartet, he combines lyrical soundscapes with the energy of South African jazz traditions.
